These days go carting can have zero emissions and low noise. Electric carts are a great means of recreation, indoor operations, and helps to eliminate the cost for gas that usually goes into a normal go cart. Electric go carts are more then just coming into their own, they are becoming very popular. With their number of advantages and eco-friendly over the normal gas go cart.

The low maintenance that these go carts provide is a big plus to most go-cart enthusiasts. The no emissions, low noise, and no gasoline is what makes this type of go cart popular among the go green, eco-friendly customers and new customers around the world. Because the zero emissions and no gasoline required, opens up a wide range of size and performing options in not only indoor arenas, outdoor areas, but also it opens up a whole new customer area that might of not of been there before until these qualities opened up those doors. Electric go carts are the next rage in the go cart industry and will only improve with the years.

The electric go cart will be the next up and coming thing. They are already taking over the majority of indoor facilities and are already popular among consumers. The Us Alone has two battery powered facilities. You can find these places in Pennsylvania and California. Even Canada has one in their Niagara Falls Skylon Tower Facility. The idea of this type of go cart is even reaching London, known as Revolutionary Karting.

What is best about this idea of a go cart is that Flint, MI, US has held events at The Genesee Area Skills Center Technology Center. This event gets students to use their brains and eco-friendly knowledge to build their own electric go carts and then bring them in and race them.

There is such a wide range of how these go carts can be made and used. These ideas do not take away from size or performance that a normal go cart has. Go check out one of the electric go cart of your choice and you will see just how much these go carts will help to change the world in the go cart industry.

Every gallon of gas your car burns sends 20 pounds of carbon dioxide into the air. What better reason to give some thought to how we can make our cars more fuel-efficient?

Watch your speed. Gas mileage decreases greatly after 60 mph.

Use cruise control when you can and avoid sudden starts and stops. An even speed is the most efficient.

Avoid idling. Excessive idling wastes a lot of fuel and generates needless greenhouse emissions.

Don’t drive in rush hour if possible. Telecommute one day a week if your employer allows it.

Combine trips and carpool when you can.

Get regular maintenance and replace air filters regularly.

Inflate your tires properly.

Take excess weight out of your trunk.

Ideally we would all be driving an alternative fuel car. (Learn more about alternative fuels at fueleconomy.gov.) But if you’re not, you can reduce the carbon footprint of your vehicle. For about $40 a year you can offset your greenhouse gas emissions by funding renewable energy projects. Check out terrapass.com to find out how.
